Eun Ha Won’s (Park So Dam) stepfamily make her life a living hell. She dreams of going to college and works hard to save money for that.

One day she meets Kang Hyun Min. He pays her to pretend to be his fiancé, but due to his grandfather liking her so much, he makes her work for him. She moves to Sky House to live with him and his two other handsome cousins. Her goal is to make them human. However it’s not as easy as it sounds.

Eun Ha Won is a hard-working girl. She likes to solve things with her fists but deep down she’s a sweet and caring girl.

She’s also naive, even too much so. This and her over written sense of right and wrong are making watching her pretty unbearable.

Now let’s meet the princes.

Meet Kang Hyun Min (Ahn Jae Hyeon).

Intro from secretary; “The Chairman’s eldest grandson, Kang Hyun Min, is a person who seeks to spread the incredible amount of love he’s received to many people—”
Grandpa; “A total player.”

Yes, he’s a complete Casanova who is an arrogant jerk -and not (always) in a good way. He thinks that money can buy people and he sees no one else but himself.

“I just thought of one thing that money can’t buy.”
“What?”
“Your smile.”

Still, in his defense I have to say that he is one of the best things in his drama. He is conceited but later it serves as a comedic relief from the stupidity that is the female lead. Also, he can be really sweet when he wants to.

Intro; “The Chairman’s second eldest grandson, Kang Ji Woon is a person who challenges boundaries and cannot be tamed by anyone–”
Grandpa; “A total thug.”

Kang Ji Woon (Jung Il Woo) loves cars and bikes. He doesn’t like being one of the heirs nor living in the Sky House. Their grandfather buys his only friends and makes them abandon him so he has no choice but to live there. He’s a lonely soul that has no warm feelings towards anyone.

Intro; “The Chairman’s youngest grandson, Kang Seo Woo, has all the qualities of a singer-songwriter star, and is unrivaled in —”
Grandpa; “A good-for-nothing.”

Kang Seo Woo (Lee Jung Shin from C.N.Blue) is the sweetest of the cousins. He’s a famous singer but he is understanding and caring.

The fourth prince is Lee Yoon Sun (Choi Min Sung) the head secretary of the boys’ grandfather. He’s stoic and unyielding in his loyalty towards the Chairman.

As the final character we have Park Hye Ji (Son Na Eun from A Pink). She’s a childhood friend of Kang Hyun Min, and has been waiting for him for 10 years… Just take this piece of advice from me; let him go.

The cousins are always at each other’s throats, Park So Dam is always saying something ridiculous and completely unrealistic and her family is just THE worst I have ever seen. The music is absurd; when Eun Ha Won gets mesmerized by one of the brothers (which in my opinion happens too often) they play this god awful music in the background and I can’t help but cringe every single time.

I don’t really like Park So Dam or her character but when she gave it to Kang Hyun Min at the altar, I loved her. Just for that moment though.

The best thing in this drama is Kang Hyun Min. Yes, he is conceited and always flirting, but he is smooth and natural. Kang Seo Woo is also a breath of fresh air as a chaebol heir because of his warmth.

So what’s my conclusion?

I think that this drama is not worth the pain I can already see it causing me. I want to keep my hair where it is.

This drama is just ruined by the music and Park So Dam’s character, and no matter how hard they try to sell this to me as the new Boys Over Flowers or how many Jung Il Woo’s they manage to get to act in this disaster it is simply just not worth it.
